1 1/2 cups parmesan cheese grated
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tbsps black pepper finely ground
4 tbsps lime juice or lemon juice
salad oil
Into a fifth-size wine bottle (with a screw top) funnel in parmesan, garlic powder, salt, pepper and juice. Replace cap and shake well to combine all. Pour in oil to within 3 inches of the top of the bottle. SHAKE! SHAKE! SHAKE!
Do not refrigerate.
Notes: Serve with Lohoefener Salad: torn romaine, red onion rings, avocado slices and crummies.
